Buyer Ticket Terms
These terms apply to tickets purchased through Kelvio Events. Kelvio Events provides the ticketing platform; the event organiser is responsible for the event itself. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are GST-inclusive.
Your ticket
A valid ticket is required for entry and is admitted via its unique QR code. Do not share your QR code — a ticket may only be admitted once. The organiser named on the event is your contract for the event's delivery.
Prices, fees & GST
All amounts are shown in AUD and are GST-inclusive. Paid tickets include a Kelvio booking fee of 3.9% + A$0.90 per ticket (GST-inclusive), which is shown separately before you pay. Free tickets carry no Kelvio fee. Whether the ticket price includes GST on the organiser's supply depends on the organiser's GST registration.
Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe and paid to the organiser's connected Stripe account. Kelvio never stores your card details. Your order is only confirmed once payment is verified — returning to a confirmation page alone does not guarantee a completed purchase.
Refunds & cancellations
Refund eligibility is set by the organiser's cancellation policy, shown on the event page and at checkout. If an organiser cancels an event, you are entitled to a full refund. Refunds return to your original payment method and may take a few business days. Refunded tickets are invalidated and will no longer scan.
Transfers & resale
Where enabled, you may transfer a ticket to another person (this reissues the QR code and invalidates the previous one) or list it for resale at up to face value. Kelvio does not permit resale above face value.
Attendee conduct & entry
Entry is subject to the organiser's and venue's conditions. The organiser or venue may refuse entry or remove attendees for unsafe or unlawful conduct. Seating layouts shown are booking aids and are not certified safety or evacuation plans.
Your data
Information you provide at checkout is handled under our Privacy Policy and shared with the organiser to deliver the event.
