Operator: Redline Plan Consultants and operating Kelvio Events. ABN: 95 379 160 339. Business address for notices: Suite 1208, 530 Little Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia. Support and privacy contact: info@redlineplanconsultants.com.au. Website: www.redlineplanconsultants.com.au. Effective date: on publication. References to 'Kelvio', 'we', 'us' and 'our' mean the operator identified above. 'Organiser' means the event seller identified on the relevant event page. 'Buyer' means the person making a booking. 'Attendee' means the person using a ticket. 'Platform' means the Kelvio Events service. This document does not replace the terms of other Redline or Kelvio products. This policy applies to Kelvio Events tickets only; Kelvio subscriptions and Redline professional services keep their existing refund terms.
This policy applies to Kelvio Events tickets, not unrelated Kelvio subscriptions or drafting services. Statutory remedies are preserved. Eligibility after cancellation or a major change depends on the circumstances and applicable law. An organiser's cancellation or significant alteration may give rise to refund or compensation rights. No 'no refunds' statement overrides those rights. The organiser manages event-related requests, determines discretionary refunds, funds amounts it owes and instructs payment processing. Kelvio's role is technical facilitation. Kelvio is not a substitute refund fund if an organiser has already received a payout, has insufficient funds, is insolvent or fails to respond. This does not exclude Kelvio's own non-excludable obligations.
The organiser must promptly notify buyers of a cancellation, postponement or material change, explain available remedies and provide a contact channel. Where a refund is due, the organiser must arrange it without unreasonable delay. A credit, replacement date or substitute event must not be forced on a buyer who is entitled to a refund. A postponed event must have a clear status and updates; it must not be kept indefinitely 'pending' to avoid a remedy. If circumstances outside the organiser's control prevent delivery, the organiser must assess applicable law and the disclosed event conditions, explain the options and account for any unperformed services. This clause does not itself grant a blanket right to retain all payments. Any special weather or cancellation arrangement must be clearly disclosed and legally valid.
Where no legal remedy applies, a change of mind, accidental selection, personal travel problem or non-attendance does not automatically entitle a buyer to a refund. The organiser may offer a more generous policy or approve a discretionary request. A platform error, duplicate charge or failure to provide the purchased service is not treated merely as a change of mind.
For a full order refund under this policy, the buyer receives the full ticket price and any Kelvio booking fee paid. Where only specific tickets in a multi-ticket order are fully refunded, their attributable booking fees are returned too. For a partial-price refund, the proposed amount and treatment of the attributable booking fee must be explained; statutory entitlements prevail. [OWNER TO CONFIRM: proportional attributable booking-fee approach for partial refunds.] Payment processing costs retained by Stripe are handled between the organiser and Kelvio under their agreed arrangements. They must not reduce a buyer's full refund under this policy. Refunds normally return to the original payment method; any exception requires a secure, authorised process. Bank processing time varies. A refund request, approval, submission and completed refund are different statuses.
Submit the order reference and reason to the organiser or Kelvio support. Reasonable supporting information may be requested. No administrative request deadline removes statutory rights. Fully refunded tickets become invalid. A partially refunded ticket remains valid unless the refund explicitly cancels that ticket or its entitlement. Cash purchases are refunded by the cash recipient, with the platform record updated. A lack of organiser funds does not extinguish an amount legally owed; any pending refund must be disclosed honestly.
Ticket payments are charged directly to the organiser's Stripe account, so card disputes are raised against the organiser and any chargeback amount and Stripe dispute fee are borne by the organiser. Kelvio provides the order, ticket and entry-scan records as evidence on request.
Stripe's card-processing fee is charged to the organiser on each payment and, under Stripe's current policy, is not returned to the organiser when a payment is refunded. This does not reduce the amount refunded to the buyer.
